I love to laugh, am loyal to the end and I adore friendship... I am so in love with Billy, so proud of Jeremiah, Emma & Bella and so grateful to live life with aqueous. I enjoy a deep conversation, a movie that makes me think and homemade chocolate chip cookies. I cry easily, am way too sensitive and will fight with everything in me for the needs of a friend. I am a PE/Dance teacher & theater director at Isla Vista School, I am also a bookkeeper and a pastor's wife. I eat garlic bread dipped in gorgonzola dressing at Pascucci's, Roast Beef Hottie 88 at South Coast Deli, ceasar salad at Fresco and love Del Taco chicken soft tacos. Even though I love drama & everything entertainment.... I am not a drama queen...
The groundhog saw his shadow today and predicted 6 more weeks of winter, he said “As I look around me, a bright sky I see, and a shadow beside me. Six more weeks of winter it will be!” I have never understood why if he SEES his shadow there will be more cold weather, doesn’t it seem like it should be the opposite? If he sees his shadow, there will be warm weather because the sun is shining and produces a shadow. I don’t know!! I wonder what time in the AM they check for the shadow? It kinda looks dark in the picture. Oh well…
I agree, Kristin. There should be less winter if he sees his shadow. Maybe the picture was dark, b/c it’s snowy/rainy –which would mean that it’s wintery. which, IMHO, should mean that he didn’t see his shadow & there would be more winter. But i guess logical people don’t come up with things like Groundhog Day.
